Lisbon Highlights

I highly recommend this tour if you are new to Lisbon and want a quick introduction to the city. We have three kids 13, 10, and 7 and even they enjoyed the experience. Diogo was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and the different neighborhoods. We stopped at all the major highlights and he had a story to share about each one that made the tour feel very personal. Plus, skipping the line at Pastéis de Belém was a real treat!

We recommend this tour as a good introduction to Lisbon’s history and some of its most important sights.
Our guide Daniel was excellent. His friendliness and warm manner made the experience both fun and educational.
Daniel’s knowledge of all aspects of the city is broad and deep. We especially appreciated his willingness and ability to adapt the tour to our particular interests as the tour progressed.

This tour was a great way to get a comprehensive overview of Lisbon in an afternoon. Vasco was an incredible and genial guide with a wealth of information. Having a combination of driving and walking meant that we were able to cover a lot of (hilly!) ground but also get up close in many locations. Vasco's knowledge helped us to make decisions about which locations to visit in more detail in the coming days and gave us guidance on where to eat, shop, and people watch.
Near the expected end of our tour, as we headed to our last stop at Belem tower, traffic became a nightmare. We suggested we end the tour, as time was almost up and that he should just drop us at our hotel. Vasco nicely suggested we instead make a stop to have a glass of wine and a nibble. We thought this would be the end, but after a charming visit to a very old wine bar Vasco insisted on still making the visit to Belem, although we were well past our allotted time with him. Even though he could have returned home to his family he shuttled us off to Belem where we arrived as the sun dipped below the horizon making for spectacular and magical photos. After that we stopped for the signature Lisbon pastry to round out an incredible day. I will be highly recommending this tour to all my friends!

Despite an assorted age of my elderly father in his 80s and my 20 year old daughter ,Daniel kept it interesting and relaxed for all of us , getting around all the main sights of Lisbon with great knowledge of this lovely city

We were escorted by a very friendly and personable guide who showed us the city from a variety of vantage points and stopped at several landmarks and historical sites so we could see them up close. The tour is well structured but we did not feel rushed or hurried. A great way to see the highlights of Lisbon and learn about this great city. Daniel is an outstanding guide!

What a great way to start our time in Lisbon. We did this when we first arrived from the US and Vasco met us when we arrived and dropped us and our luggage off at or hotel at the end. Vasco was very knowledgeable and shared with us Portugal’s history while showing us around the city. Gave us a great overview so we could decide where best to spend our time in Lisbon.
