In Luxemburg ist der öffentliche Nahverkehr kostenlos und auch in den städtischen Museen ist der Eintritt frei. Dafür ist das Kombiticket mit 33€ zu teuer!
Die wenigen Informationen, die man im Cityline Bus erhält, dessen Scheiben so dreckig waren, dass man kaum was sehen konnte, waren nichts Besonderes.
Es gab keine Karte der Tour und der Haltestellen, der Onlineplan war nicht zu bekommen, weil das angekündigte wlan im Bus nicht funktionierr hat und im MUDAM wurde das Ticket nicht anerkannt.
Die Tour geht ausschließlich durch die oberen Stadtteile und anders als in anderen Städten, bekommt man dadurch keinen guten Überblick über die Stadt, die viel mehr zu bieten hat, als das Europaviertel.
Alles in allem langweilig und teuer.

Wenn Sie allerdings kein WLAN im Bus haben, kann es ziemlich schwierig sein, der Tour zu folgen. Vielen Dank für diesen Hinweis. The bus tour itself was fine - informative, and the driver was skilled. It did not include some of the sights I had hoped to learn more about in the old part of Luxembourg City, like the Ducal Palace or Notre Dame. I feel misled because it wasn't "hop on hop off"! We were told there were no stops so we just rode the whole loop once then had to make our own way back to sights we wanted to see. The museum combination part was not worth the extra money. Two of the museums we visited (Three Acorns fort and MNHA) were free, and the people at the MUDAM had no idea what the pass was.

Dear Shannon, thank you very much for your review. I am sorry to hear it but unfortunately you misunderstood the concept of the City Line bus. Never had we misled you or mentioned in the description that one would see the old part of Luxembourg with the bus. If you wish to visit the old part of Luxembourg, there are other products we provide like the "City Train in the old town", the 4 walking tours, guided e-Bike tours or our newly guided walking & cultural tour. Then, the museum pass has been created in order to facilitate the entrance to the 7 museums, combined with another product (combi ticket) during 48 hours. Of course, it could be some museums who have a free entrance, and the fact that the staff is not aware of this pass, is something that we cannot change because the museum employees are not our direct staff. A bit difficult to pinpoint the current, temporary starting point, but the tour was a pretty standard experience for a double-decker sightseeing tour. Museum pass is also a nice combo.
