A good Tour
The company that organizes the tour is incredibly reliable and helpful.., 10 of 10 to them.
The tour itself was a little disappointing to me. We had a very knowledgeable guide that knew everything about art and paintings of the period - - - hands down the most knowledgeable guide I had in all the tripe I took in Italy.
Personally I wish it was less artsy and more social political to be honest. We spent to much time in the capela in the Medici castle and had no time to visit the Pazzi and Albizzi houses.
I guess I am too into the Medici series and bossed with the noble families fights.

Missed tour
I can't say what the tour was like. Having arrived at the Palazzo Medici Ricardi a good 20 minutes before the start of the tour I approached who I assumed was the guide showing my receipt and giving my name. The guide denied I was booked on her tour so I waited another 30 minutes before contacting Made of Tuscany office who at first blamed me for not turning up and then said it was a mixup because of a late booking. It wasn't that late a week or so before. No apology or refund was offered and I didn't even try as obviously I wasn't going to get anywhere by the dismissive manner of the woman I spoke to. I had travelled from Rome specifically for this tour as I am a great fan of the Medici Masters of Florence TV series. So not only had I lost the money for the tour but also for the expense of the train ticket for nothing. If I ever visit Florence again I certainly would never use this company. What a contrast to the tour I had the day after that had efficient and enthusiastic personnel.
