Questa gita in barca a vela è stata molto bella, lo skipper Vasili molto competente e prudente, attento e professionale (sono anch'io una velista) e ho apprezzato molto la sua organizzazione in barca e la sua affabilità.
Il gruppo di fatto di 6 persone è stato divertente. Per la prenotazione mi sono rivolta direttamente all'agenzia Cts di Tropea ed è stato semplicissimo.

gita piacevole - prenotazione ridicolmente complicata

La gita in barca e' stata un piacere, il comandante dell'imbarcazione molto simpatico. A causa del poco vento siamo andati solo a motore, ma abbiamo visto luoghi bellissimi, passato un pomeriggio piacevole. L'unica nota dolente una complicatissima prenotazione. Prima abbiamo dovuto dare tutti dati come se fossimo diretti sulla luna, dopo ci hanno mandato una mail, il pdf da scaricare pero' non si apriva. A questo punto la ragazza dell'agenzia, per altro molto disponibile e non penso colpevole dell'organizzazione o meglio della disorganizzazione, ha dovuto trasferirmi la pdf direttamente attraverso whatsapp. In conclusione, invece di strappare due biglietti (tempo 1 secondo) come si faceva ai vecchi tempi, abbiamo perso una ventina di minuti almeno. Evviva la tecnologia che ci permette di risolvere i problemi che prima non avevamo (Umberto Eco).

Beautiful trip shame about the captain

Didn’t start to well as we had no idea where we had to be as there was no one to meet u but finally we sorted this out!
The trip was beautiful
Felt a little let down to start with as we had booked the sailing boat trip as my aunty used to sail and wanted to be on the water again to find out very quickly this boat wasn’t going to actually sail and when asked the response was there’s no wind to sail (despite 3 other boats sailing out at sea)

The trip was lovely and the boat very beautiful but unfortunately it was totally let down by the captain. He was very rude and abrupt and had no interest in making the trip enjoyable at all!

They were 3 parties on the boat a family with 2 children from Germany, a group of Italians and us (3adults). He made all efforts to interact and explain the surrounding to the Italian group but however his attitude was totally different towards the rest of us. He was very rude to a family about their children “playing” on the boat when they were simply looking for the toilet and was very rude about their ability to use the toilet even as the father to “go and sort them out”

The advert offered snorkelling equipment which we had to ask for and understandably could only use the mask. Unfortunately the mask that was thrown into us in the sea sunk and we was unable to retrieve it, when we explained this to him her rudely replied “you will go to the shop and buy me a new one” we explained it was an accident but he continued on to advise us we had ruined it for other passengers and we MUST replace it! We explained after being spoke at like children for 10mins we would happily give him €20 to cover the cost but we wasn’t walking to the shop to get him a new one! He still attempted to march us to the shop when we returned to the harbour but we declined but still gave him the €20 which he just took with no further comment. I’m sure when boooong a trip like this it includes insurance which I’m sure would have covered a €15 snorkel mask, but hey we replaced it!
He never said thank you goodbye to any of us!
Shame really as the whole trip was lovely it was just totally let down by him it was a Real shame!

I would recommend the company as we did book another trip through the company and it was brilliant but I wouldn’t recommend the sail boat trip! 1) you don’t even use the sails 2)the atmosphere wasn’t there, There were plenty of other boat trips that were moored up at the same swimming spots that appeared to have much more of an atmosphere where people looked to be enjoying themselves.

A boat trip, but not more

We booked the a sealing trip, which includes snorkeling, but we were disappointed because of following things:
- Yes, it was a sealing boot, but we didn’t hoist the sails. We drove by engine power.
- Yes, it we had the possibility to get snorkeling, but for what? There are no “special” fishes neither a big amount of fishes neither a reef.
We brought our own snorkeling equipment, even we didn’t had to, because the snorkeling trip includes the snorkeling equipment. But we never got the offer to get snorkeling stuff on board.
- The trip includes an aperitif. Yes, we got a shot of Prosecco. One bottle of Prosecco was share with 17 people. This offer shouldn’t even mention.
The boat trip was offered as an English, Italian or German spoken guided tour. But only Italian an English was possible. For us no problem, but for people, who will book the tour because of the German language, they will fail.

All in all a nice boat trip along the coast but the price performance ratio is bad. We wouldn’t recommend this boat trip, so sorry.

Hi, thank you for your review even though it is negative. I want to respond to the points you have made in your letter. We have a program to follow (Tropea Capo Vaticano) in this stretch we make stops to see the peculiarities of our place in the Mediterranean Sea and swim in the crystal clear waters. When you booked your vacation you should have informed yourself better that we do not have coral reefs and special fish, these particular you can find them in Australia in Egypt and other tropical places. Regarding the aperitif, we were 12 on the boat including 2 children, so 10 adults. Our aperitif includes Prosecco and fresh fruit as it was served, we do not organize an excursion based on Prosecco and then feel bad on the boat. As for the sails that were not raised the reason is simple there was no wind, the boat can not stand still but to make the program the boat must move, so in the absence of wind we go motor. For snorkel masks in this period that we all know we prefer not to have snorkel masks exchanged even if we disinfect them. If we open an agency in a tropical country where there is coral reef and special fish we will consider you and send you a free ticket for our new tours in the reefs.
