Your tour will cover rolling fields, vineyards, olive groves and beautiful landscapes. We will stop at Stilo to visit the famous “La Cattolica”, a small Byzantine church. We proceed to the medieval village of Gerace where we discover the picturesque old town. Driving deeper into the heart of Calabria we see a part of the Aspromonte National Park before we reach the region of Nicotera and taste excellent wine and virgin oil.

Der Ausflug hieß ursprünglich "Bella Calabria". Es wurde uns aber mitgeteilt, dass nur der Ort Gerace einbezogen war, und danach wurde der Ausflug dann auch benannt. Das war sehr schade, denn wir hätten gern mehr gesehen.
Trotzdem war es eine sehr gut organisierte Tour mit einer kompetenten Reiseleitung, sehr vielen interessanten Informationen in schöner Landschaft. Insgesamt gesehen hatten wir also einen erlebnisreichen Tag.

Un tuffo nel cuore della Calabria

Consiglio assolutamente la visita ai borgi di Gerace e Stilo dove si vedono posti bellissimi e allo stesso tempo si scopre la vera essenza della Calbria. Gerace è un borgo medievale ricco di chiese, tra cui la Cattedrale (una delle più importanti e grandi della Calabria). A Stilo (dove si può vedere la "Cattolica", prossimo sito unesco) si entra semplicemente in un'altra epoca (da non perdere la breve passeggiata alla chiesa rupestre dove si può godere dell'assoluto silenzio e di un panorama da favola).
Viaggio in pulmino all'insegna dei paesaggi dell'entroterra calabresi.
